Prevalence of subjective complaints was surveyed of 632 junior and senior high school students applied by a general health questionnaire-the Todai Health Index(THI). The students were sampled from four high schools in the Seoul area. The positive response rate to each question, the mean values of 12 scale scores, and 3 discriminant values were compared by sex. The SUSY(subjective symptoms) of junior and senior high school students in both sexes showed the highest mean scores, respectively, followed by MENT(mental instability). IRRLIFE(irregularity of life). High school girls had higher scores in most scales than boys. It seemed that senior high school students had higher scores than junior high school students. The implication of the THI could tell health evaluation of survey subjects.
